Personal
Who Am I?
I am a freelance PHP programmer with only a little workspace where I accomplish my coding goals (And quite honestly, it's all the space I need!). I have coded many dynamic web applications and sites for a wide range of clients and for personal reasons too. I consider coding a hobby and less like a job then anything else, but I seem to be finding more time to devote to it. Beyond coding, I also write computer tutorials and have guest blogged for many sites. I mainly like to focus on and code applications that help make your life easier and more efficent and I'm all about making the most of your time.
Other Interests
Outside of programming and technology, I am an avid Boston fan that roots for the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics. I enjoy watching many sports including the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, NCAA and other abstract sports such as Poker. I've written about and taught programming and many other technology related topics to new programmers and advanced coders.
Programming
Programming Experience
I am and have been an experienced PHP programmer for some time now. I've scripted several sites and applications for both personal and private use. These applications range from simple database storage solutions to fully-fledged systems for many purposes. I am not only limited to PHP though. Like most Web Developers, I have both extensive HTML and CSS knowledge along with some JavaScript and AJAX. I've designed and coded a few sites in Flash, but mainly only the design (I only know the very basics of ActionScript). Besides web programming, I also have experience with many high and low level languages including C, BASIC, and other interpreted languages such as batch files and VBscript.
Programming Certifications
Currently I don't have any kind of certifications in programming (Like I said, it's just a hobby). Surprisingly though, I am currently taking an intense course on C and plan to continue on to other languages. My interest in programming started when I read a beginners crash course on HTML and continued on to PHP, BASIC, and more.
